Directing Masterclass

Join us for an inspiring and hands-on session with Dr Julisa Rowe — visionary theatre maker, Artistic Director of Chemichemi Players, award-winning producer and actress with over 40 years of experience in the arts.

Dr. Rowe has worked extensively with drama ministries in churches, schools and communities and travelled across the globe studying, documenting, and analyzing indigenous drama forms. Her work has also used the transformative power of theatre to spark dialogue and support healing within communities affected by trauma.

Known by many as “an actor’s director,” she is celebrated for creating collaborative, empowering, and safe creative spaces where performers can truly thrive
