The impact of media and entertainment on our worldview and values cannot be overstated. Whether it’s children, youth, or adults, stories shape minds, stir emotions, and set cultural trends. Yet many creatives pursuing wholesome, family-friendly content often lack the theological grounding, mentorship, or community to ensure a deeper spiritual impact.
The Centre for Media at Creating Understanding exists to change that.
We are committed to empowering Christian creatives to tell redemptive, society-shaping stories through film, audio, and digital content. Whether you’re a writer with a story on your heart or a filmmaker ready to share truth through visuals, we walk with you to bring that vision to life.

This modest facility is just the beginning. It serves as a launchpad for our broader dream: a fully equipped media production house capable of producing short films, documentaries, and eventually feature-length works—crafted with excellence, grounded in Scripture, and rooted in a Christian worldview.
Training & Mentorship
At the Centre for Media, we’re focused on walking alongside emerging storytellers; not just teaching skills, but nurturing purpose.
We offer:
One-on-one mentorship opportunities with experienced Christian creatives and media professionals
Guided script feedback and story development support
Occasional in-person or virtual meetups to share works-in-progress and gain insight from peers
Spiritual encouragement for those navigating the unique challenges of creating faith-based content
While formal workshops are currently in development, our mentorship model is relational and hands-on—meeting you where you are in your creative journey and helping you move forward with purpose.
Frames of Faith Film Project
Frames of Faith is our signature film initiative, launching annually from late November to early December. The project is designed to raise a generation of storytellers who blend biblical truth with cinematic creativity. It includes:
- A one-day Bible Interpretation Workshop to ensure strong theological and narrative foundations
- A film creation phase, where teams bring those stories to life
- A grand Awards Celebration, spotlighting excellence in Christian storytelling
- Frames of Faith Artist Discipleship Track : a 3–6 month post-festival formation journey that blends spiritual discipleship with creative development.
Frames of Faith is more than a project—it’s a movement to see storytellers formed, sharpened, and sent out.
Digital Distribution
Our streaming platform, CU Media, built by and for faith-based creatives, is under development where we will showcase our films and content. It will feature content that is Christ-centered, culturally relevant, and family-friendly—sparking conversations and shaping hearts for eternity.
